Our core belief makes us different from most pool builders... Maximum Pools and Spas focuses on the basics to make the maximum impact on your pool. We started from the basics, providing pool service, which includes cleaning and repairs. From there, we worked our way up to building pools. It may not sound like something worth mentioning, but it has allowed us to understand how a pool works to ensure it operates as efficiently as possible.
There are many things to consider when designing a pool, such as drain, jet, and skimmer placement, to ensure optimal self-cleaning and water filtration. Regarding construction, we lean towards overengineering for the strength and extended life of the pool. We use 1/2-inch rebar, 12-inch beams, and steel construction. Many other design aspects go into every one of our pools, so you can be assured your pool will last for years.

A gunite pool can also be referred to as a concrete pool. The pool is structured using steel rods and gunite or concrete is shot over creating your pool. A fiberglass pool is a pre made shell made of fiberglass. A hole is dug for the pool and the shell is set into the ground. In terms of choosing which type of pool is best for you, environment and designs are factors to be considered.

Construction time is in reference to when hole is dug.
For a gunite pool and spa it can take 12-14 weeks for completion. For a gunite pool it can take 10-12 weeks for completion.
For a fiberglass pool and spa it can take 10-12 weeks for completion. For a fiberglass pool it can take 8-10 weeks for completion.

Chlorine is a chemical used for maintenance of a pool ensuring sanitation of pool water. A salt-cell is an upgrade in terms of pool maintenance. The salt-cell uses salt to create chlorine via electrolysis versus directly adding chlorine. Overall opting for a salt upgrade can result in easy care of a pool due to low chemicals needed.

At the end of construction Maximum Pools will provide a Pool School which teaches you the basics for understanding your pool equipment. Maximum Pools also provides a weekly pool cleaning service to help with the maintenance of your pool. Creating more time for fun rather than cleaning.

For the first appointment we invite you to our show room so that your family and you get the full experience of designing your own pool. Our showroom displays all the possibilities for your pool and helps us get the closest to a final design so at the end you receive the most accurate estimate.
